2012!Kaga for me was a Kaga of many shooshpaps, and I can't help but thank you (a lot) for all the help you gave me, especially throughout the beginning of 2012. Dang, there were things in 2012 that you and a buncha other cool cats fished me out of that were... less than cool, and I'm so glad that I had people like you there to help me. I'm glad that even though we're not in major fandoms with each other (insert monk quote here), we transcended the world of fandom to become friends on a spiritual level. We are truly lesaens.
I remember when you were a literal toddler at the age of 15, hehe (Something something about BP sinking something emotes) ( ´ ▽ ` )/ And wow, wow! When you read this message a year from now, you'll finally be 18! The big 1-8! An adult! You can... be in charge of your own man! You can buy lottery tickets! You can maybe drink, I'm not too sure of the rules about that in Oregon, but I know you'll make the right decisions. And you can vote, hehe! You're your own woman. The Goddamn Runaway Kagaminator. Or something.
Wowie zowie, when 2013 rolls around you'll be in that thing called ~college~! You're really smart, so I think you'll be somewhere like Yale or Harvard or one of those universities that we canadians hear about from time to time on TV. I hope everything's going well for you... uwahh, what am I kidding, I know everything will go well for you! You're my little Einstein when it comes to physics! I bet when you're reading this message you have the results of your finals in hand and they will all be beautiful because you are supa smart. Have you been sleeping well, too? I hope college don't put a dent in your true and tested sleeping habits, even though I'll never understand them. Have you been eating well, too? I hope you haven't been subsisting on mozzarella sticks and broad beans.
Because that isn't healthy.
Really. And I hope you stay out of trouble, too!! (Although Level-5 freakouts are okay). Have you gotten better at Japanese, too? And I bet your art has gotten lovely with that new tablet pen of yours. (●´ω｀●) You are truly the Porn of the Colour.
Have you been smiling a lot, too, 2013!Kaga? Your smiles are infectious and they make everyone smile too, so I hope you're happy in 2013, and I hope that if things do trouble you this year (or next year or wait I'm so confused damnit), that you plow through them like the unstoppable train that you are. I hope it's a year of discoveries and friends and excitement and experiences that you'll certainly remember ♥ Everyone loves you, Kaga, and I'm really, really glad I've known you for as long as you have. I know that you will only get better with time, like some fine wine.
