Hey Laura. By this time next year you will hopefully be in a foreign country teaching English to kids. Yes? yes. How is it there? Do you miss home? No? Good. I hope your stupid school finally let you graduate. I hope you didn't have to take a summer course to pull it off. I also hope you did well on the Japanese History final that the current you is currently taking a study break from. Remember, ARTICLE 9! I hope you continued to surround yourself with wonderful people in your life, and I hope you're maintaining the friendships you've made over the years. I hope you aren't letting your anxiety get to you as much. By now you should have conquered it. I hope you are still the positive person that you always have been. Believe in yourself, no matter how bleak things may get. Also, did you get a boyfriend? If not it's okay. Someone will come along eventually.

By this time next year, you will probably have been doing great things, and possibly doing stuff that you enjoy. I have a feeling you will be doing lots of things that will be helpful to others. I hope that 2012 was a good year for you, and that 2013 is a better year.

Hopefully we have seen each other face to face, if not, THERE ARE STILL MORE DAYS AHEAD.

Just remember: There's always something I like to tell my friends about me in particular. I like to tell them that they have a room in my heart. Almost like an apartment complex or something. But, you have a space in my heart that's all your own, you can stay for as long as you like, and if you decide to leave, your room will still be here if you decide to return. If not, then your room will be just as it was when you left, untouched, and the memories inside still intact. ^_^

i have not known you for long, but you are so much more intelligent than me, and it makes me very happy to associate with you for that reason! in 2013 i hope that you will be able to achieve everything that you want and so much more than that. but overall i hope that you never let yourself be discouraged because in the end the only thing that really matters, whether or not you've achieved what you wanted to, is that you tried your hardest. this is definitely something that i am much better able to advise than actually follow myself! so do as i say and not as i do and all of that good stuff.

if i do not still know you in 2013, i will be very sad! so do not try to get rid of me. i am a leech. but i do not suck blood, instead i suck knowledge and friendship. ah yes, i am indeed a parasite ^______^)/

I know this year we haven't talked nearly as much as we used to, and that makes me sad but was also understandable for many reasons. I hope in 2013 we're able to reconnect a.k.a. hopefully me being in the same country allows for easier communication orz, I fail. I hope you accomplish all your goals this year, and I hope you continue to be so crazily, amazingly optimistic. More than anything I hope I talk to you more, though, because as selfish as it is, you have always been a positive influence in my life, and being around you will no doubt make me a better person by extension.
