my only wish for you, who's now a year older, is to become a wiser person. make decisions that aren't based on your immediate emotions, and not feel like a total ass when you make mistakes or fumble over. no one probably taught you this in school but, you have family and friends who can tolerate incompetency and listen to you when you need them to. 2012 was full of that kindness and you know it. don't dismiss the good things in life to brood over shit that's all in your head. recall good advice and leave the anger behind. talk to your friends more if it makes you feel better.
2013 will be a year away from routine, so how did you fare in a different environment?

IT'S BEEN A LONG WHILE and i just finished reading the comment you left on my time capsule last year. im sorry i didn't stay in touch with you even though you put that responsibility in my hands ;o; TBH I DIDNT STAY IN TOUCH WITH ANYONE AND i am a loser and i am sorry
but anyway, i'm hoping all your exams have gone smoothly and you got what you wanted in the end. PLUS i hope you are happppppy! and i hope i kept in touch with you in 2013 so i can squeeeee over how kawaiis you are ♥

DARLING DARLING TAKA OF 2013, hello ♥
we've always talk about meeting up someday, but with me going away to australia to study this year, the possiblity of that seems pretty slim, sigh. but i hope we did talk a lot this year? WE BETTER. i have loooved all our tumblr messages in 2012 and i hope to god we keep up that habit, with the welcome addition of actual msn chats this year!! anything well, JUST i hope we did get a chance to be in constant and regular contant with each other. you are the balm for my soul and a message from you could always brighten up my day SO :) oh, and we're both newly emerged from a gruelling exam year, which is a good thing, but it also brings about a lot of changes to our lives. coming out from the routinue of just studying, you are probably going to experience a lot of new things (just as I) and i hope that you've gained valuable experience and plenty of memories that you can think back fondly upon in the future! to the you reading this, i hope you can put a hand on your heart and tell yourself that you are proud of yourself for your accomplishments this year, that you are truly satisfied with your decisions (and even if you are not, that you can tell yourself you have learned from mistakes and can move on from it a better, wiser and stronger person) and that you find happiness in the things you love this year. and to the taka reading this in 2013, all the best for 2014 you can do it!!!! believe in the me who believes in you (i feel the need to pull this quote out every now and then and tell it to you all haha because it is true and you all should believe in it)

From our last conversation, it appears as though 2013 will be a year of change for both of us. Change brings uncertainty, opportunities and challenges and well, I suppose we can't expect everything to go smoothly. I just happened to have been born earlier than you so let me just say that everything will work out! You have your own wonderful traits. Of course things won't work out magically by themselves (they do on the rare occasion though lol), but you've one listening ear here whenever you need it.
Stay positive and all the best for the next year! Hope to meet up with you again, but stay safe yeah? ;3

It's Tuesday as I write this. This means it's 3 days until I see you and I'm really excited for it ♥ We hardly talk or meet this year, but you're still very dear to me and you may laugh, but I'm super, super excited to finally see you again. Let's play King of Fighters together and it'd be fantastic.
I hope 2012 had been good to you. I hope 2013 will be good to you, because you know what, you're such a lovely girl and you deserve that and more. I'm sorry I can't really say much and I'm sorry we don't talk much this year.
In any case, I hope in 2013 we will get to talk more.

I know that for the next upcoming year you'll be choosing your major for university. I hope that you don't stress out about it too much! What can I say... In the end, you have to choose something that you know you'll enjoy doing because it'll just be miserable to continue onto 4 years of studies when you don't even enjoy it. So i hope that for the first half of 2013, you manage to explore yourself and hopefully gleam some insight as to what you think you might enjoy doing! Don't put yourself down too soon, things are not set in stone and they will always change. One major can lead to a job in a totally different area, so don't restrict yourself! But make wise choice nonetheless.
Other than that, what can I say? You're done with A's and the stressful part of your life has been over! I hope your results are satisfactory and that you'll be able to get where you want with it. Take some time off and just enjoy yourself after putting in such hard work for the past two years. 2012 has been stressful, what with preps for As but 2013 will definitely be a more relaxing year, hopefully.
That said, enjoy yourself! And I hope you do explore more of the things that you want to do and figure out your major!
