well, self, 2012 sucked to the point that you blocked out most of it. i don't think you've ever had a more stressful year post-elementary school, which is really saying something. that's alright, though. it's in the past. besides, you had some fun times, too. you met new people, you got closer to some of the ones you already knew, and you reconnected with some old friends. you also started college part-time, as well as driving lessons, which is a very big step for you, all things considered. this is the year you learned to stop trying to do the impossible and instead focused on what you could do and what you needed to do. you've grown emotionally (though sadly not physically). good job.

i hope 2013 has treated you well. how is your family? your pets? have you gotten into the school you wanted to go to? are you leaning more towards teaching or law? has your art improved any? are you still friends with your losers (you'd better be)? on a less important note, are you with someone who's good for you?

hopefully you'll be able to favorably answer those questions next time you see this. if not...well, it's not the end of the world. just keep doing your thing and never back down
